Ringsted Sport Center

Ringsted Sports Center consists of four halls, two multipurpose rooms, a rambla, a water park, and a sauna area.

Povl Christensen Arena, formerly known as Hall A, was built in 1997 with space for approximately 1,600 spectators. This is where the local handball league, TMS Ringsted, has its home games.

In 2007, the sports center was expanded with the new Ringsted Water Park, and in 2012, the Gymnastics House (Hall G) was added.

The Rambla

In April 2023, the Rambla opened – a multifunctional area that is now the new center of the community in Ringsted Sports Center. The Rambla connects the entire center. You can walk directly into the Water Park, view the outdoor sports areas through beautiful glass facades, and see what’s happening in the halls and on the new warm-up areas.

Experience the new multipurpose hall, where both sports and culture are in full swing. Hold meetings and conferences in the new, sleek, and modern event facilities.

It’s a pleasant place to be in the Rambla. There’s space for a quiet moment with a cup of coffee, playing with children, or meeting friends and family for a meal. In our view, an active community isn’t just about traditional sports – it’s also mind sports like chess and backgammon. It’s play and learning. It’s strength training. It’s the shared meal. It’s exciting lectures and other activities where we use our minds together. The active community also means “just being together.” You can use the Rambla for whatever gives you and other users value after your training or when you just want to do something together. If you get hungry, Café Ingeborg is ready with a snack or a healthy meal.
