Skjoldenæsholm Estate

Skjoldenæsholm is a hotel with cultural heritage.

Beautifully situated between lakes, rolling hills, and tranquil forests at the highest point of Zealand, lies the estate Skjoldenæsholm at Skjoldenæsvej 106, 4174 Jystrup Midtsj.

Historically, Skjoldenæsholm dates back to the Middle Ages, but the current main buildings were constructed in a sleek Neoclassical style in 1766. The manor has been in the possession of the Bruun de Neergaard family since 1794 and is currently owned by director Susanne Bruun de Neergaard, the 8th generation of the family.

Today, Skjoldenæsholm is a beautifully restored and well-equipped hotel, conference, and seminar center with all modern amenities. Guests of the hotel have free access to the beautiful park, as well as marked trails. On the estate’s grounds, there are two 18-hole golf courses of international standard, and only a few hundred meters from Skjoldenæsholm is the Tramway Museum.
